The Extreme Engineering Fire Control components, are truly space age.  They are manufactured from the same alloy that rocket booster engines are made from.  There is no need to stone them to fit or function, The hooks on the hammer are perfect, and there’s no reason to stone the sear either.

This set is for the 1911 competition gun builder/shooter who wants an ULTRA LIGHT hammer weight for the fastest lock time with a hammer with a thumb cocking piece and any trigger pull weight that they are capable of producing. Suitable only for match competition 1911 pistols.

Extreme Engineering Warp Speed Hammer

Manufactured from a special steel alloy developed for aero space applications. This hammer is only 10% heavier than a comparable titanium hammer and will hold a 2 lb. trigger pull indefinitely when mated to our Low Mass Sear. The hammer hooks are micro honed to produce a light trigger pull easily. Provides the fastest lock time possible with a steel hammer for full race applications. Heat treated to 50-54 RC. Suitable only for use in full race competition 1911 pistols.

Extreme Engineer Ultra Low Mass Sear

Manufactured from the same aerospace steel alloy as Extreme Engineering premium hammers. Extremely low mass due to innovative recontouring. Designed to be used for extremely light trigger pulls. Faster reset time due to low mass which reduces chances of following with very light trigger pulls. Sear bearing surface micro honed to produce that 2 lb. pull easily. Heat treated to 53-56 Rockwell C for extreme durability. Out lasts all other sears now on the market. Competition proven. If your having problems with follows with a light trigger pull set up, this is the sear that corrects the problem.  Fits Kimber, Springfield, 1911, STI, SV, and Para. Ultra Light Low-Mass Sear.

Extreme Engineer Ultra Low Mass Race Disconnector

Designed to be used for extremely light trigger pulls. Faster reset time due to low mass reduces the chance of the trigger system not reconnecting causing a failure to fire when the trigger is being pulled extremely fast for double taps. Fits Kimber, Springfield, 1911, STI, SV, and Para. Low Mass Race Disconnector.
