NOTE: TMC triggers are skeletonized to reduce “trigger bounce” which is rough on a fine trigger job and downright dangerous with a very light trigger pull. Using TMC triggers, a competent pistolsmith can adjust the trigger pull to safely meet your shooting needs. For carry or competition, you can’t beat a TMC trigger for reliability or value.

This really is the trigger ive been looking for. It was a drop in. No fitting required. My biggest complaint with skeletonized triggers is many have only pretravel tabs up front and nothing below it to support it in the frame. But the part is extremely well made and does not bend easy. I did bend the shoe down slightly which tightened up the vertical play but it still functions and works perfectly.
In some cases you will need to fit the trigger shoe. In some cases like my gun its a looser fit. But can and does work flawlessly with a little tweaking. But in my case, I really am trying to make a low cost 1911 into a higher end build. So I was really pleased that this dropped right in for me. But even if you have to fit it? Its a beautiful trigger that is extremely well made and is comfortable and really lets you dial it in exactly the way you want it.

I just finished a Rock Island 1911 rebuild. I didn’t have one of your triggers on hand, so I tried a Les Baer trigger I did have. The Les Baer is OK, but not nearly as smooth as your triggers. So I ordered two. One for the rebuild and one to have on hand!
