TMC Prodigy 5″ Tungsten Guide Rod Kit

This guide rod kit is made for the Springfield Prodigy 5″.  The takedown hole in the guide rod allows for easy disassembly/reassembly.  The head of the guide rod has smooth beveled edges to make for a seamless look.

All kits are drop-in.

The TMC kit uses an EGW Tungsten guide rod.  The Tungsten guide rod adds an addtional 2 onces to the front of your Prodigy, which will drasticaly reduce the muzzel flip on your Prodgy.  The recoil spring is an 8 pound round wire ISMI spring, and the fully machined reverse plug is made by EGW.

In independent testing, ISMI spring have endured in excess of 100,000 compression cycles. We don’t recommend going that long between changes however. With an ISMI spring, practice routine maintenance and change it once a year.
