TMC Officers Mainspring Housing/Magwell (Checkered)

This is a two-piece combination mainspring housing and oversized magazine guide.  Features a unique dovetail locking system, in conjunction with the standard screw to provide a rock solid magazine well opening without gaps and rattling.  Both the Mainspring Housing and magwell are machines from Solid barstock steel.   The detailed checkering is machine cut into each housing at 25 Lines per Inch, with expert precision then finished by hand.   The Flat Housing is the standard 1911 design for the clean, classic look. Drop-in fit will work with virtually any 1911 style handgun.

The Officers Model housing features drop-in installation in all Officers size 1911 pistols.
