These top quality firing pins are percision machined from Titanium bar stock to exact tolerances, Heat treated and then coated with a C4V (TiN) coating for extended service , many times the life of a standard firing pin. These Titanium firing pins weigh 40 percent less then standard stainless steel firing pins, which dramatically lowers lock time.
The C4V (TiN) coating provides excellent wear resistance with a hardness of 2600 Vickers. C4V is a (PVD) coating (TiN), However one look at our new C4V coating, you will know this is not your Average TiN coating. It has a Coefficient of Friction of 0.4 and is only 2 Microns thick.

Notes on 1911 Firing Pins:
Average diameter of 1911 .45 caliber firing pins is .095″-.096″ at tip
Average diameter of 1911 .38 Super and 9mm caliber firing pins is .070″-.071″ at tip
If the firing pin caliber needed is not known, check the hole size in the breach face to determine the caliber firing pin needed for your slide before ordering
Will not fit Springfield Armory 1911s
Not all 45’s manufactured today use the .090 tip, some do use the .070 tip. Measure your current Firing Pin the ensure you are ordering the currect size
