The TMC Bobbed T mainspring housing offers a unique,  modification to your Government Model frame that transforms it into a Round-Butt handgun. Elimiating the sharp profile when concealing a 1911. The Bobtail removes a full 1/2″ of excess metal from the bottom rear of the gun, where the mainspring housing pin is located while maintaining the correct grip position. This not only reduces the weight, but drastically increases comfort and concealment during carry without reducing magazine capacity.  Requires fitting and installation by quailified gunsmith.
