The EGW Mainspring Housing for the Springfield Prodigy features checkering that helps get the weight in the right place and gives you great traction on your grip.  This mainspring housing is checkered to the proper location to provide a very clean installation with a Magwell.  This mainspring housing was designed to be used with a Magwell.

Pins and springs do not come with this part. You can use the pins and springs from your original mainspring housing or purchase new parts from us.

This mainspring housing makes a great replacement for plastic mainspring housings and greatly balances out your Prodigy.
