Features
Frames: The Oriskany Arms 1911 frames offer the same features found on frames costing 2 to 3 times as much. Precision cast from 4140 carbon steel, and CNC machined to final dimensions. Heat treated to Rc 22-24 for optimum performance and durability. Oversize frame rails allow the gunsmith to achieve an exceptionally tight slide-to-frame fit for more consistent accuracy. The frames feature 20 line per inch checkering on the front strap. Standard model offers a robust, economical foundation for a great, all-around shooter.
Slides: TMC’s Elite 1911 Slides are precision CNC machined from 4041 Bar-Stock carbon steel and heat treated. The 4140 carbon steel alloy provides high strength, high fatigue strength, toughness, torsional strength, and impact and abrasion resistance.
Featuring front and rear serrations along with standard dovetails. The rear dovetail is .495 x 65 degree and the front dovetail is .330 x 65 degree sight cuts. The slide is provided with front and rear serrations to provide positive grip and prevent slippage when racking.
Match grade stainless bushing barrels: TMC barrels are CNC machined in the USA. The 10mm Short block features a Clark/Para Ramp full support barrel. They feature slightly oversized dimensions for tighter barrel lockup and a match quality fit. Premium stainless steel bar stock is machined, heat treated and cryo stress relieved before final rifling to improve accuracy and barrel life. Precision, broach cut rifling gives outstanding accuracy with all bullet types, including lead.
