The Extreme Engineering Fire Control components, are truly space age.  They are manufactured from the same alloy that rocket booster engines are made from.  There is no need to stone them to fit or function, The hooks on the hammer are perfect, and there’s no reason to stone the sear either.

This set is for the 1911 Tactical / Carry pistol shooter who wants an ULTRA Clean trigger job while also watching the Budget but providing a major upgrade to the stock 1911 components.  This Trigger set provides the cleanest and crisp trigger pull while maintaining a trigger pull weight that is suitable for Tactical / Carry and general range shooting or it can be tuned down to a low trigger pull for range and match shooting.  A great upgrade for all Kimbers, Springfields and other factory stock 1911’s.

Extreme Engineering Classic Spur Hammer

The Classic Spur Hammer is a reproduction of the hammer that Colt  installed in their pre Series 80 government pistols. This hammer will allow those who are restoring their pistols to replace their aftermarket hammer with a correct reproduction. The Classic Spur Hammer is heat treated through out to 50-54 RC for maximum wear resistance. Suitable for all applications with standard 1911 government grip safeties.

Extreme Engineer Tactical Sear 

Manufactured from the same aerospace steel alloy as Extreme Engineering premium hammers. Manufactured from the same tough steel alloy as the Extremem Engineering tactical hammer. Manufactured to the same precision tolerances as the low mass sear. Heat treated to 44-46 Rockwell C for unlimited life expectancy. Suitable for all applications but expressly designed for the tactical pistol. Out lasts all other sears now on the market. Competition proven. If your having problems with follows with a light trigger pull set up, this is the sear that corrects the problem.  Fits Kimber, Springfield, 1911, STI, SV, and Para. Ultra Light Low-Mass Sear.

Extreme Engineer National Match Disconnector

Manufactured from the same tough steel alloy as our tactical hammer. Proper length above and below pivot hole to provide correct function with light trigger pulls and to reduce drag on the slide. Heat treated to 50 – 53 Rockwell C for unlimited life expectancy. Suitable for match and tactical pistols.
