The TMC 6 Inch Keyed Reverse Plug secures the recoil spring on pistols that use bull barrels or cone compensators. This blued steel plug also supports the front of the slide and gives the muzzle a clean, finished appearance.

Because cone comp and bull barrel pistols do not use standard barrel bushings, a reverse plug is required to retain the recoil spring correctly. For this reason, proper fit and strength are critical.

Designed for Bull Barrels and Cone Comp Pistols

First, the reverse plug contains and guides the recoil spring during operation. This control keeps the spring aligned and helps prevent binding during cycling.

Next, the support-style plug fills the open space beneath the muzzle on bull barrel installations. As a result, the front of the slide gains added support while maintaining correct recoil system geometry.

In addition, the plug removes the unfinished gap at the muzzle. This detail creates a smooth, professional look at the front of the slide.

Keyed Design for Secure Retention

The keyed design prevents the reverse plug from rotating during firing. Because of this feature, the recoil system stays properly aligned through repeated recoil cycles. This design also makes installation and removal easier during routine maintenance.
