TMC 1911 Recoil Buffer Pads
The TMC 1911 ACP Recoil Buffer Pads help protect your pistol during recoil. These buffers reduce slide impact, soften recoil, and extend the service life of your frame.
These aftermarket recoil buffer pads fit 1911-style pistols that use either a full-length recoil rod or a standard 1911 recoil spring guide. Because of this compatibility, they work in most traditional 1911 configurations.
Built for Consistent Performance
Unlike many imported recoil buffers, TMC manufactures these pads in the United States. A U.S. factory produces each pad using injection-molded plastic, not die-cut material. As a result, each buffer maintains consistent thickness, shape, and durability.
Injection molding also reduces common problems found in lower-quality pads, such as uneven edges, premature wear, and poor fit.
Reduced Impact and Smoother Recoil
During firing, the recoil buffer absorbs impact between the slide and frame. This action helps prevent frame battering over time. At the same time, the buffer reduces felt recoil impulse, making the pistol more comfortable to shoot.
Each buffer absorbs repeated impacts for up to 1,000 rounds. For best performance, replace the buffer after 1,000 rounds of use.
Easy Installation and Reliable Fit
Installation takes only moments. Simply slide the buffer over the recoil spring guide or full-length recoil rod. No tools are required. Once installed, the buffer stays securely in place during operation.
Because the pads use precise molding, they install cleanly and fit as intended.
