This kit uses original ISMI flat wire recoil springs for your SA Prodigy 5.0, Government  The kit includes a 7 pound, 9 pound, 10 pound and 11 pound  ISMI  recoil spring that allows you to fine tune your recoil system to your ammunition.   Fine tune the recoil and keep your Prodigy running like new.  While the standard 8 pound spring that comes with the EGW recoil rod kit, is a great all round weight for general shooting.  This kit allows you to fine tune the recoil to your shooting style and ammo.

The 7 Pound spring is great when you are running light loads in your Prodigy

The  and 9, 10 and 11 pound springs let you adjust your recoil when you are running Major Power Factor or Plus P ammo

This kit can be used for fine tuning the recoil of any other 9mm 5″ 1911 or 2011
