Prodigy Recoil Tuning Kit – Flat Wire – Commander

This kit uses original ISMI flat wire recoil springs for your SA Prodigy 4.25, Commander.  The kit includes a 10 pound, 13 pound and 14 pound  flate wire recoil spring that allows you to fine tune your recoil system to your ammunition.   Fine tune the recoil and keep your Prodigy running like new.  While the standard 12 pound spring that comes with the EGW recoil rod kit, is a great all round weight for general shooting.  This kit allows you to fine tune the recoil to your shooting style and ammo.

The 10 Pound spring is great when you are running light loads in your Prodigy

The 13 and 14 pound springs let you adjust your recoil when you are running Major Power Factor or Plus P ammo

This flat wire spring fits commander 1911s with full length 1/4″ diameter guide rods.

It also fits the Springfield 4″ 1911s in 9mm.

This spring will not work with standard diameter spring guides or guide rods.
