First, the company casts the frame precisely, and then it CNC-machines the frame to exact dimensions. Designed for Tight Fit and Improved Accuracy

Oversize Rails for Custom Slide Fit

The frame includes oversize rails, so gunsmiths can hand-fit the slide for a tight, smooth action. This adjustment improves accuracy and ensures consistent cycling during live fire. Moreover, the tighter fit enhances overall pistol performance under stress.

20 LPI Checkered Front Strap

Oriskany Arms machines 20 lines-per-inch checkering on the front strap. This checkering gives shooters secure traction without feeling harsh. In addition, it improves control during rapid-fire sequences while staying comfortable during extended shooting sessions.

Heat-Treated for Strength and Machinability

After machining, Oriskany Arms heat-treats the frame to Rc 22–24. This treatment balances durability with easy machinability. Consequently, gunsmiths modify or tune the frame efficiently, and shooters enjoy consistent long-term performance.
