 1911 Grip Bushing Tap Set 

This set includes both a  an American made .236 – 60 TPI (Standard) and an .255″ – 60 TPI (Oversize) high speed steel bushing tap.  These are quality 3-Flute High Speed Steel taps and are used for 1911 Grip Bushings but perfect for any other application requiring this size.  Storage case is included.

 The TMC oversize tap is used to cut .255-60 threads in a 1911 frame for repair (oversized) bushings, when the standard threads in a frame have been stripped.

The TMC standard tap is used to clean up and cut .236-60 threads in a new frame.
