TMC 1911 Ejector Pin Drill Bit
Fitting a new ejector to a 1911 or 2011 is a time consuming task. Most of the work involves marking and filing the grove in the front leg of the ejector, so that the ejector pin can be installed. Make the grove to large and the ejector floats up and down. The drilling method resolves the issues with marking the ejector leg and filing the grove in the proper spot.
Our HSS drill bit is a left hand cut drill bit, which pulls down on the front leg of the Ejector. If you try to do this with a standard twist drill bit, it will push the ejectdor up and away from the frame causing a very poor fit.
