TMC Prodigy 4.25″ Stainless Guide Rod Kit

This guide rod kit is made for the Springfield Prodigy 4.25″.  The takedown hole in the guide rod allows for easy disassembly/reassembly.  The head of the guide rod has smooth beveled edges to make for a seamless look.

All kits are drop-in.

The TMC kit uses an EGW Stainless steel guide rod.  This guide rod set uses a standard .326″ diameter guide rod, that lets you use any standard commander recoil spring.  The recoil spring is an 12 pound round wire ISMI spring, and the fully machined reverse plug is made by EGW.

End your searching for replacement flat wire recoil springs and use any of the available commander recoil springs.

In independent testing, ISMI spring have endured in excess of 100,000 compression cycles. We don’t recommend going that long between changes however. With an ISMI spring, practice routine maintenance and change it once a year.
