Thunder Mountain Custom is a firearms manufacturer and custom gun shop specializing in 1911 pistols. We are a full service gunsmithing shop doing custom work, modifications, enhancements, and tune-ups.
The owners of Thunder Mountain Custom have between them a diverse and wide-ranging background in firearms: completion of formal 1911 pistolsmithing classes; armorer-training; shooting sports competitions; hunting; military weapons training, and, of course, building 1911 pistols.
Thunder Mountain Custom also provides it’s own line of custom 1911 parts, manufactured from solid barstock, at reasonable prices for those who enjoy customizing their own 1911’s.
