The rear corner features a precise .015-inch radius. This design breaks the sharp edge while keeping a square profile that slows slide opening. Therefore, the pistol experiences less battering, improved control, and better overall durability.

EGW heat treats and Rockwell tests each firing pin stop to 48 Rc. This hardness helps the part resist peening and hold its shape over time.
