Aftec Extractors End Extractor Malfunctions. Extractor tension is achieved by two springs that push on side of extractor which provides equal pressure along the entire length of the extreactor. Now you no longer have to worry about your extractor loosing tension during a match. Available for 9mm, 38 Super, 38 Super Comp, 40 S&W and 45 ACP.  Features  Machined from super alloy steel that is specially hardened and heat treated, Aftec extractors use long lasting coil springs to provide consistent and reliable performance for competition and self-defense 1911/2011 Style Pistols.   No-fail extractor operates with long-lasting coil springs for increased service life; provides enhanced, reliable performance for self-defense and competitor shooters.  Installs easily in Series 70 1911 Autos without slide modifications.   Fits all 1911’s, Springfield, STI, SV and Kimbers without an external extractor.  Used by many of the Grand Master Shooters and Wold Champions such as Todd Jerrett.  Note: Extractor will not function with series 80 pistols.
